Saint-Estèphe is separated from its famous neighbor, Pauillac, only by a stream, yet there are significant differences between them mainly due to the enormous geological variety of its soils and sub-soils. For thousands of years, successive layers of alluvial soils were deposited. 

Blend:

Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc

Aroma:

Refined and elegant with blackcurrant, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice

Palate:

Rich, fruity and well-structured with red berries and spices

Ageing:

5 to 50 years - Wonderful ageing potential
