Languedoc-Roussillon Region

Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the largest and most productive regions in France covering an area that stretches from Nimes and Montpellier in the east, around the Gulf of Lyon to the Spanish border.

Languedoc-Roussillon produces many different styles of wines from red, white, rosé, sparkling and sweet wines.

The region is divided up into the follwing appellations,

Banyuls,  Blanquette de Limoux,  Cabardes,  Cartagene,  Clairette du Languedoc,  Collioure,  Corbieres,  Cotes du Roussillon,  Cotes du Roussillon Villages,  Cremant de Limoux,  Duche d'Uzes,  Faugeres,  Fitou,  Grand Roussillon,  Languedoc,  Limoux,  Malepere,  Maury,  Minervois,  Muscat de Frontignan,  Muscat de Lunel,  Muscat de Mireval,  Muscat de Rivesaltes,  Muscat de Saint-Jean-de-Minervois,  Rivesaltes and Saint-Chinian.
